Setting the boundaries of the rules to be followed and assuring effective risk management
It is increasingly more important for companies to ensure that risks are properly managed: a problem that has become very widespread, mainly as a result of the obligations to comply with the provisions of Legislative Decree no. 231/01 (as amended and supplemented) and with the data protection legislation that concerns all sectors of business and the professions.
We have thus gained expertise in providing assistance and advice intended to give undertakings the legal support needed to enable them to proactively bring themselves in line with laws, regulations, policies, contractual obligations and market standards, while bearing in mind their specific sectors of business and the different legislation that may concern the operations of individual firms (depending on whether their operations are supervised and/or conducted in regulated markets). In pursuit of those objectives and ends, we assist businesses in adopting and updating in-house procedures for complying with the provisions of laws and regulations, including those issued by industry regulators. Inter alia, we also handle the adoption of organization models pursuant to Legislative Decree no. 231/01 and the revision of data processing procedures as required to bring them in line with the rules contained in EU Regulation no. 2016/679 (known as the GDPR).
