We wish to bring to your attention the Conference organized by Il Sole 24 Ore, entitled “Logistics Day 2025”, which will be held on 25 June, from 9:30 AM to 1:00 PM, at the headquarters of Assolombarda in Milan.
The Italian logistics sector is undergoing continuous growth and transformation. Its strategic importance to the national system was made evident during the Covid-19 pandemic and the ongoing conflicts in Ukraine and the Middle East. The event aims to examine current trends and challenges facing the sector within a geopolitical context shaped not only by ongoing conflicts but also by the United States’ new customs policy.
Particular focus will be given to technological innovation, with special emphasis on Artificial Intelligence, as a tool to support companies in mitigating rising costs and optimizing operational processes. Other key topics include compliance with ESG parameters, which are now legally mandated, labor shortages, and the management and training of the workforce. Additionally, a technical overview of the regulatory framework governing the sector will be provided, starting with the Logistics Collective Bargaining Agreement.
Among the speakers will be Attorney Luca Peron, of Trifirò & Partners Avvocati, who will give a presentation on the topic: “The New National Collective Bargaining Agreement for Logistics, Freight Transport and Shipping: New Rules for an Evolving Labor Market.”
